Welcome Back Class of 2027!
Dear Patriots,
I am excited to welcome you to your senior year and honored to serve as your 12th Grade Level Administrator. This is a year of exciting new beginnings as you prepare for college, careers, military service, or other pathways beyond John Jay High School.
These four years have gone by so fast, and I encourage you to get involved, step outside your comfort zone, and find the activities that will make this last year meaningful. Come to school everyday, participate in all the senior events, and really be present. Your consistent effort, positive attitude, and a willingness to learn will make all the difference this year. Set realistic goals for yourself, work hard, ask questions, and never be afraid to seek help when you need it.
Please remember that you are not navigating this year alone. Our teachers, counselors, support staff, and administrators are all here to help you this year. In addition, my office is always open for any questions or concerns that you may have. Whether you need support, have a question, need a sip of water, or simply want to say hello, stop by! Ms. Gonzalez, my administrative assistant is also here to support you...again, just stop by. You will see me throughout the building, in the hallways, at school events, and cheering you on from the sidelines.
Once again, welcome back Class of 2027! We are looking forward to an exceptional year and I challenge you to finish strong.
