Welcome to John Jay High School!

I hope you have had a fun and restful summer. We are excited to open our doors to you and welcome you as the incoming Freshman Class of 2030.

As you begin this exciting new chapter, take a moment to think about what you hope to accomplish and experience during your four years at John Jay. High school is a time to discover new interests, challenge yourself, make lasting friendships, and grow into the person you want to become. 

I encourage you to take advantage of the many opportunities John Jay has to offer. Try something new, get involved, challenge yourself, and don’t be afraid to step outside of your comfort zone. The choices you make and the relationships you build during these four years can become some of the most meaningful parts of your high school experience.

Four years from now, when you walk across the stage at graduation, I hope you look back with pride—not at the opportunities you missed, but at the accomplishments you achieved, the challenges you overcame, and the positive relationships you created along the way.
